Aye,
Papa Hoodoo Medicine Show is me band. I'm thar bloddy blues harp and keys guy, with an ocassional vocal squak from time to time... .Dont know what thar current lik'ins of most disc tossers err but if yar like Delta based blues with solid jam band swamp funkadelic en yer musical pallete yar may want to check us out!
We frequent The Casa del Sol in Nyack, NY en play in thar big city from time ti time. We've played gigs at BB Kings with some well travelled sailors... Cornell Dupree, John Hammond, Louisiana Red, and such... aye.
Also, the new Papa Hoodoo CD is finally available!!

I was just at my friends house and they were passing around an unopened CD. I grabbed it to see who it was and low and behold it was the one and only Papa Hoodoo, I couldn't believe my eyes. I totally named dropped Jbyrd and bragged that I could get him to sign the CD and maybe even play one of their parties. Apparently they have known one of the guys in the band for a while. Good Story  |
