Has it been decided as to what layouts will be used? I am gonna guess:

-Silver to Blue
-Blue to Silver

Layouts will most likely be s-b and b-s for most divisions. Wolfe woods might be used for some of the am divisions but only for one round at the most.
Preregistration checks are coming in fast. Don't be that guy.

Are there any camp grounds that you guys recommend for the tournaments. Hopefully close and open for the tournaments. If not are there any motels, hotels that are cheap but decent.

I'm gonna make some calls this week to see if we can lock up some rooms for a good rate by Campgaw for Saturday night. Campgaw Mountain also has camp sites available, http://www.co.bergen.nj.us/bcparks/PrCampgawMountain.aspx, They are Lean-to sites with fire rings, not sure about there availability, walking distance to the course.
Last year a bunch of people got together and rented a lake side cabin in Harriman State Park in NY, about a 20 min. drive to Campgaw, probably 30-40 mins. from Warwick.

Hey Steve, If I cash in Open would I be able to take merch instead of cash? I'm trying to keep my am status so I can play U19 at worlds and try to get my world title. Thanks,

Hey Dan, I'm fine with doin merch instead of cash. Let me talk with the pdga just to make sure. Up to 30 players pre-regd. We got 5400 ft of rope coming. Gonna try and make the course like USDGC.
Latest pre-reg. the grand McGooflick. Looking to get a work day soon. Alot of spring cleaning to do. Any suggestions on dates?

Are there any locals willing to offer floor space or camping space for traveling players? If so, please get in touch. We are trying to provide lower cost sleeping options for the traveling players. Fri or Sat night. Thanks.

Haha-wasn't kidding about the bears! A lot of activity around my house I've noticed (my parts delivered chewed up from work, bird feeder destroyed, etc.,) but don't worry-apparently my cat Nomad is on it!
With the doors shut and windows rolled down you can't hear a thing outside, but the cat started freaking out again, went from one window to the other wild-eyed and was determined that I look. Turned the light on, there was the bear! 20 feet away, I called to it, it ignored me. So who's camping at McGahey's house??
So....you can camp here, hey it was only about a 300 pounder!! Very Happy

Solid workday yesterday! Thanks to everyone that helped out, course is looking good. Definately a couple more projects out there if anyone is looking to get out this week. Holes 11 and 14 in wolfe have trees that can be chainsawed. Also if anyone wants to help with marking out of bounds that would be great. The club just purchased good thick rope to mark the park boundries. the rope is in the red shed. We have 2 different colors, the tan "bone white" is for marking the ob along the rock walls. do not use the yellow rope please. Contact me at sbdisc@yahoo.com if you have any questions.
Tournament is filling up fast. Up to 65 players and I've been getting 5-8 players a day. Bravo pizza will be taking lunch orders in the morning. As long as we don"t get alot of rain before the tourney amatuers will be playing one round in wolfe woods. See you then.

I should have some updates this week about all the layouts. Looks like all Ams will be playing 1 round in wolfe woods and 1 round on the animal. Pros play both rounds on the Animal. Course is in great shape! Still some chainsawing on holes 10-13 on the animal course if anyone gets a chance. New ob on holes 1,8 and 9. Check them out. Anyone know where the eraseable scorecards are? Any help the mourning of the tourney will be greatly appericated. I will be accepting entries the day of but registration will close at 8:30 a.m sharp!

not sure about other local live music, best bet is to go into Warwick village and grab a beer at halligans and ask around. There are a few spots in walking distance that may have something going on. During the day, the warwick valley winery is a cool place with bocce courts. 5 minutes from the course.
